DELIVERY & RETURNS
We deliver all of the products on offer. Our Next Day Delivery service is available to most UK postcodes. However, if you find we do not offer this service to your chosen address it is due to courier restrictions. Please try an alternative address or choose a different delivery service.
If you chose Next Day delivery and placed your order before 1.30pm, your order should arrive the following working day between 9am and 5.30pm. You will be advised via a text message or e-mail should there be a delay.
HOW LONG DO STANDARD DELIVERIES TAKE?
We aim to deliver 3/5 working days. The table below shows the estimated delivery date depending on the date of the order. Products can be delivered by our courier at any time of day between 9am and 5.30pm. Note; Saturday and Sunday is NOT a working day.

Working Day means all days from Monday to Friday but excludes Saturday and Sunday. For example an order placed before 1.30pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday but an order placed on Saturday will be delivered on Tuesday. You will be advised via a text message or e-mail should there be a delay.
HOW DOES THE NEXT DAY HOME DELIVERY SERVICE WORK?
If you chose Next Day home delivery and placed your order before 1.30pm, your order should arrive the following working day between 9am and 5.30pm. Working Day means all days from Monday to Friday, but excludes Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.
Terms for the NEXT WORKING DAY SERVICE - DEADLINE FOR SAME DAY DESPATCH IS 1.30PM
Monday-Thursday delivery will be made the next day, only on orders received before 1.30pm DEADLINE.
EXCLUDES WEEKEND DELIVERY.
Orders placed Thursday after 1.30pm and Friday before 1.30pm, will be despatched on Friday and will be delivered Monday.
Orders placed Friday after 1.30pm , and all weekend orders will be processed on Monday and received on Tuesday.
You will be advised via a text message or email should there be a delay.
NOTE: NO WEEKEND DELIVERY. We do not offer a Saturday delivery as a next day service. Cheapfabrics will not be held responsible for weekend delivery.
Over the Christmas and New Year period our Next Day Home delivery service is not available where the delivery would be due on a Bank holiday. For simplicity, where this happens, we will temporarily remove the Next Day Home delivery option. Our Next Day Home delivery schedule will return to normal as soon as possible.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM OUT WHEN THE COURIER COMES?
The couriers will either leave the parcel with a neighbour, or will take it away again for redelivery. They will place a card through your door to let you know that they have been, and what action they have taken.
CAN I ORDER A DELIVERY TO GO TO MY PLACE OF WORK, OR ANOTHER ADDRESS?
Yes, this is no problem. When placing an order, please put in the delivery address you require and give us your billing address as well.
WHAT ARE THE NORMAL DELIVERY TIMES?
Products can be delivered by our courier at any time of day between 9am and 5.30pm. Can I track my order? Most orders despatched can be tracked although on standard deliveries Royal Mail will only issue a tracking reference once an attempt has been made to deliver, please contact customer services. You will receive an e-mail informing you when your order has been despatched.
CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?
We cannot currently cancel or change orders ONCE DESPATCHED for UK or international customers. You will need to request the return of your order following the returns process.
DO YOU DELIVER TO MY COUNTRY?
We endeavour to deliver worldwide, please contact customer services. All international orders may be subject to duties and sales tax imposed by their local country and payment for these will be the responsibility of the customer. Please allow extra time for deliveries due to the changes the Brexit regulations.
DO YOU DELIVER TO BFPO ADDRESSES?
Yes, we offer a delivery service on most products to British Forces Post Office (BFPO). Please refer to the BFBO website for more information on weight limitations and mail prohibitions. We aim to deliver to the relevant BFPO collation centre within 4 working days. Delivery timescales to the final destination will vary depending on the BFPO timetable, but it is usually within 30 days.
DELIVERY DISCLAIMER
Note our delivery dates are estimates supplied by Royal Mail and couriers only. They do not guarantee your goods will arrive in this time period.
IMPORTANT: We cannot be held responsible for late deliveries including orders placed for express services.
We reserve the right to send your order on a tracked and/or signed for service regardless of the delivery option you have chosen should we feel this necessary.
We reserve the right to send your order in multiple parcels, should we not be able to send your order in one parcel due to Royal Mail and Courier restrictions on weight and parcel size.
RETURNS
RETURNS POLICY
1. All costs related to postage for returns will be borne by the buyer unless goods supplied were faulty. In such a case the supplier shall be responsible.
2. The buyer must contact the supplier within 7 days of receiving the goods for any return request.
3. When returning goods, the buyer must inform the supplier prior to dispatching the said goods. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee on all items returned.
4. Returned goods must be sent requiring a signature from the seller/sellers representative to confirm receipt as title for ownership shall remain with the buyer until such time. Please note we do NOT accept returns of fabrics cut to order and recommend ordering samples prior to purchase of cut lengths.
5. Once we have received the goods we shall initiate the refund or replacement.
6. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged.

HOW DO I RETURN BY POST?
Once your return has been authorized you can return items to us via Royal Mail. Items returned by post can take up to 10 working days to reach us once you have posted the parcel. When your refund has been processed it can take your card provider 3 to 5 days working days to credit your account. If in doubt, please call our customer services line 0845 520 2525. In order to avoid unnecessary delays in processing your refund, ensure you use the correct address below Cheapfabrics 59-60 Thames Street Windsor Berkshire SL4 1TX If it is sent to the wrong address, it may delay your refund.
1. Repackage the goods into the original packaging.
2. Enclose all the relevant details in your parcel.
3. Take the parcel to a Post Office and obtain a proof of posting.
4. Retain your proof of posting until you have received your refund. You will need to make your own arrangements through any postal carrier. We'll send you an email to let you know once we've received your return with the details of any refunds and exchanged items. If an item is out of stock we’ll let you know we couldn’t exchange it and issue a refund instead. If an exchange is available, we’ll drop you another email once your new item has left our depot.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS RETURN
Once your Return has been authorized, as an International customer, you can return your parcel using any postal service. We ask that you obtain a proof of postage receipt so that if your parcel goes missing on the way back to us, you’ll have proof you sent it. It can take up to 21 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) for your parcel to reach our warehouse in the UK. Once we receive it in its original condition, we'll issue your refund within 1 working day and drop you an email to let you know once this has been done. Once you've been refunded, it can take up to 10 working days for the funds to show back into your account.
NOTE FOR ALL OUR CUSTOMERS
Any exchanged items that may be agreed upon will be sent to the default delivery address on your account using the same delivery service as your original order. Please do not return anything without notifying us, as it could result in the parcel not crediting to your account.
